San Mateo school began in 2000 with the purchase of a building for the school in the district of San Juan of Lurigancho. The school is also the home of the Mission of San Mateo. The school provides children of the area Christian and educational formation.

San Mateo School benefits greatly from all types of support, including financial aid, scholarships for students, new or refurbished computers, materials for teaching, and missionary teachers.
