Various parishes and missions in Lima and Arequipa

The AMA Groups around the Diocese aim to recognize the valuable and unique role of women in the plan of God.

AMA’s objectives are:

1. To encourage women to know Jesus and to grow in Him through:
   • Fostering corporate and personal prayer;
   • Reading and study of the Bible;
   • Sharing in the Holy Eucharist;
   • Participating actively in the Church community;
   • Seeking and obeying the will of God.
   • Acts 2:42

2. To mobilize to serve in the ministry and mission of the Church through:
   • Discovering and developing the gifts that God gives us;
   • Giving testimonies of Christ;
   • Participating in the work and service of the Church;
   • Evangelizing in word and action.
   • Joshua 24:15

3. To affirm them as women by encouraging them:
   • To realize that they are a persons whom Christ created;
   • To know that they are an important part of the Church and have unique contribution to offer;
   • To promote Christian values at home, work, and society;
   • To establish communities of service and love;
   • To promote communication and a harmonious life in the Diocese and among Churches
